Solartia reinforces its commitment to a just energy transition in Latin America after securing five new concessions to develop hybrid solar microgrids with battery storage in the Ucayali region of Peru.
Located in Nueva Italia, El Caco, Iparía, Sepahua, and Bolognesi, the projects will deliver clean and reliable electricity to over 43,000 people in rural communities that previously relied on diesel generators or lacked stable power access.
Together, the five installations will provide more than 12 MWp of solar capacity and approximately 42 MWh of battery storage, integrating state-of-the-art technology to ensure a clean, reliable power supply 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This initiative reflects Solartia’s mission to transform lives through energy, advancing toward a more inclusive, resilient, and environmentally responsible energy model.
Each new project marks a firm step toward reducing energy inequality and promoting sustainable development, bringing progress, stability, and new opportunities to these communities.
With these new concessions, Solartia strengthens its position as a leading company in rural electrification and sustainable microgrid solutions across Latin America, combining advanced technology with a human-centered vision to connect remote communities to a cleaner, fairer, and more prosperous future.
Empowering progress through clean energy.
